Antigen: Canine heartworm. Monoclonal Designation: HW2-81. Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG1 kappa. Specific reactivity: ether extracted parasite antigen, equal activity to male and female parasites. May recognize the heartworm larval antigen. Properties: Western blot: in reducing gels this MAb gives bands at 170 (fat), 155 (narrow); 140; bands at 98; 80; 70, and 62 kD, and a strong band at 33 kD. ELISA: Excellent capture or probe with HW1-39 or HW2-83 MAbs. Neutralization: Not known. Affinity Chromatography: Not known. Immunofluoresence: Positive. Immunohistocytochemistry: Not known.
